A ghostly tale from Willow Green This is a ghostly tale, from the voice of Kate Oliver, who lived with her family in Hill Top Farm, which lies on the edge of Willow Green. Her story begins when she is four years old, enjoying a birthday party with friends. Following a curious compulsion to gaze up towards her bedroom window, she perceives the sad face of a woman, enveloped in a shimmering grey vapour, looking down upon her. This unexpected occurrence is just the start of her turbulent journey of relationships, love and murder. Beth, the daughter of Josie and Max Forrester, is Kate’s best friend, and through the years a strong bond grows between the two women. A school reunion, being organised by Beth, is disrupted when poisoned pen letters begin to arrive in the normally peaceful village of Willow Green, bringing the recipients a great deal of distress. Events take an even nastier direction, when someone reaps revenge. Kate’s troubled life, has so many intriguing twists and turns, believe me when I say, they will keep you guessing right to the end.
In the Sierra Madre Mountains of Northern Mexico, isolated from the chaos of the Mexican Revolution, lived a peaceful, indigenous people known as the Tarahumara. There, away from civilization, 16-year-old Suré fell in love with a Jesuit missionary priest, Leandro. Their love convinces him to leave the priesthood and begin a family in the “civilized” world. The aftermath of the Mexican Revolution leads the romantic couple to be victimized by machismo and drunken savagery, forcing Suré into a twenty-year journey to overcome discrimination and violence. Inspired by the 2014 immigration crisis of unaccompanied minors into the U.S., Praying for an Eclipse is a trilogy of historical fiction that follows the family saga of Suré and her descendants over five generations. Book One, Mother Moon, narrates the traumatic rift that separates Suré from her family, creating and emotional and psychological divide that will mark the lives of her descendants in the following books.

Poems, 1922-1961 was first published in 1966.This volume contains a collection of the most important work of Donald Davidson, one of America’s greatest contemporary poets. The selection range from the time of his association with the Fugitive group of Southern writers during the 1920’s to his most recently published book of poems, The Long Street (1961). The Tall Men, first published in 1927, is included here in its revised version of 1938. Among the other early poems are selections from An Outland Piper (1924) and from Lee in the Mountains and Other Poems (1938).The critic Louis D.
Rubin, Jr. calls this “the life work of a master poet.” He comments: “These poems don’t date; they represent no outmoded school or clique . . . and the new poems have a simplicity about them that does not hide so much as it enhances their rich imaginativeness and wealth of imagery. These are the poems of a man of great sensitivity and an exciting imagination and command of the language.”

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy has been used for over two decades to heal Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Emotional Trauma, and the many symptoms (including re-experiencing, hyper-awareness, and flashbacks) of having disturbing and distressing unprocessed memories in our brains. Whether we've experienced small or major trauma, and whether we are aware of the foundation of our issues, EMDR will desensitize disturbing and painful thoughts, sensations, images, and emotions, and turn around our negative beliefs. This guide, (parts of which have been reproduced from Self Administered EMDR Therapy: Freedom from Anxiety, Anger and Depression, by Katherine Andler,) explains the theory behind the therapy, and what to expect from self-administered EMDR.
It provides a framework for self-help so that you can apply the 8 stages of EMDR correctly without the need of a therapist.
New content includes a comprehensive list of negative and positive cognitions you can use during the Reprocessing Stage of EMDR therapy.
